"This study carried out on ten European countries - Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland- aims to present an overview of the possibilities for recognition of mental disorders both as occupational diseases and as accidents at work, before focusing on recognition and compensation procedures in the countries in question. This is followed by quantification of the phenomenon and a detailed presentation of available statistics in the various countries. Finally, we review current thinking regarding the recognition of mental disorders as occupational diseases.
This study has been caring out by EUROGIP in coordination with experts from organizations members of the European Forum of the insurance against accidents at work and occupational diseases."
