"The study population consists of the group of women and men who work in customer services in the communications and land and sea transport sectors. Given that this sector presents a high level of feminisation, we consider that it should be analysed taking into account socially and culturally constructed gender differences. The study consisted of analysing and interpreting the significant aspects deriving from the performance of their work duties, as well as an in-depth study of collective symbolic representations, i.e. how their conscious and unconscious interests, beliefs, expectations and motivations are structured."
