Preliminary procedures for submitting cases to the social courts in Algeria
"It is widely considered that the labour relations law which developed in the aftermath of Algerian independence was entirely given over to favouring and protecting the workers. It was a labour law that did not require economic performance from workers in exchange for their protection. It was an approach that encompassed the whole relationship between the economic and the social and excluded all dualism. It was not until the early 1990s that we were to witness free-market inspired political, economic and social reforms heralding a new conception of labour relations in line with the classical functions of labour law."
