"The significance of leadership practices among construction site managers for construction site safety were evaluated in two national contexts. The influence of rule oriented leadership on workers' safety behavior was moderated by the level of participative leadership, implying that when rules and plans are established collaboratively, workers' motivation to comply with safety regulations and participate in safety activities is elevated."
