"The present elaboration is devoted to the analysis of the Law on the relief of the effects of the economic crisis for entrepreneurs and workers which was in force in Poland in 2009-2011. Author introduces the background of this anti-crisis law and presents its provisions. The special solutions concerned financial aid and subsidies to entrepreneurs in transitory difficulties as well as rules on working time and fixed-term employment contracts. Experiences from practical application of the Law and possibilities to integrate certain anti-crisis institutions into the Labour Code are also presented."
