"Organized labor in the U.S. has had difficulty interacting with the global justice movement not so much because these are different labor market sectors with different traditions—although that is certainly a factor—but because there is no strategic agreement on the nature of the enemy. While there are many critical remarks one can make about the global justice movement, this article focuses on the challenges facing organized labor in addressing not simply the global justice movement, but also the issue of global justice as such by building international working-class solidarity."
