"The article analyses the Amazon case focusing on the enterprise-level collective agreement of the Castel San Giovanni warehouse stipulated in 2018. After a general overview of the working conditions in Amazon, the article deals with the labour relations between Amazon and the Italian trade unions in order to reach an agreement to improve workers' conditions. Subsequently, the contents of the 2018 enterprise-level collective agreement are examined, highlighting both the advantages and disadvantages of the agreement. Finally, the two major conclusions of the case are pointed out: a) digital revolution matches Taylorism, and b) Amazon's production model conflicts with labour relations."
