"The paper outlines what has occurred to labour law regulation over the past thirty years, focusing in particular on the recent market reform. The so-called Jobs Act, in fact, renders the affirmation of the trend that has seen the labour law subsidiary to the reasons the economy even more evident. The author argues that in order to "stand up" in this one-sided narrative, lawyers are required to reaffirm labour law values, that can achieve important applications, of which a few examples are given."
