"This large European study shows that employment during pregnancy, as compared to non-employment, is associated with a lower risk of preterm delivery. Being employed as a nurse is associated with favorable birth outcomes whereas food industry employment is
associated with less favorable pregnancy outcomes. This study provides a useful platform on which to base further prospective studies."
