"This report provides a factual analysis and statistical overview of the recent trends in manufacturing and internationally traded services in Ireland and places these trends in an international context. The data shows that Ireland's economy is changing in line with international trends, and that despite concerns about the sector, manufacturing continues to contribute significantly to Ireland's economic success. Services exports have grown rapidly in recent years and we are now ranked in 13th place worldwide. The report is intended to serve as a stimulus for informed discussion and evidence-based policy making."
