"This paper explores the international campaign for a labor rights clause in the WTO. The author argues that, while the campaign has successfully highlighted the importance of core labor standards, it could greatly benefit by broadening the campaign to include development-related demands; increasing Southern union and base-level involvement; and complementing lobbying efforts with increased membership mobilization and protest activity."
