"Millions of workers were impacted through standard workplace arrangements being replaced by telework/ remote work. Only a few countries have legislation adopted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Teleworking brings to the fore several issues that require trade unions' attention, for example gender equality, occupational health and safety, working time, employment relations and surveillance. The purpose of this toolkit is to equip trade union representatives with the appropriate resources to address the questions that workers are likely to ask as well as to draw attention to relevant sources of information."
