"Mit diesem 25. Beitrag zur Jahresstatistik der Arbeitsgerichtsbarkeit verabschiedet sich der Verf. von seinen Leserinnen und Lesern: Zuschriften, Rückfragen und Zuspruch haben immer wieder ermuntert, die »todlangweiligen« Zahlenkolonnen unter das Mikroskop des an Details interessierten, theorie- und praxisorientierten Arbeitsrechtlers zu legen, ja förmlich zu sezieren, um insbesondere Richtern, RA, Verbandsvertretern, Wissenschaftlern in Nah und Fern – jawohl auch aus den USA die »Lesefreude« von häufig mehr als 100 Din-A4-Seiten Zahlenkolonnen zu ersparen und sie über die wichtigen Entwicklungen zu informieren. Verf. hat sich nicht gescheut, trotz der angezeigten Neutralität hin und wieder ein paar eigene Ideen für die zukünftige Darstellung der Statistik, kritische Einwürfe zu gesetzgeberischen Entwicklungen oder lobende Streicheleinheiten in diese oder jene Richtung zu machen, war er doch zu lange als AG-Verbandsvertreter tätig, um nicht noch ab und zu einen höheren Pulsschlag zu spüren.

25 Years Labour Law Jurisdiction in the Light of Statistics

With this 25th article on annual statistics of labour law jurisdiction, the author wants to say goodbye to his readers: letters, inquiries and approval have continuingly encouraged him to put »dead boring« columns of figures under the microscope of a labour law specialist interested in theory and practice, or even to dissect them in order to spare, in particular judges, lawyers, representatives of associations, scientists both domestic and international, and even from the U.S. – the »fun« of perusing more than 100 pages of columns of figures, and to keep them informed about most significant developments. The author was bold enough – in spite of his neutrality – to sometimes present own ideas for a future presentation of statistics, or make critical remarks on statutory developments, or distribute praise and tender strokes in one way or the other – for he has been working as a labour employers association representative for too long a time not to feel his pulse accelerating every now and then."
