"Climate change is one of the biggest threats to economic stability worldwide and yet research shows that the publics in Europe and the United States do not see green policy as essential to economic well-being.
The Open Society European Policy Institute and d|part research shows the disconnect between public perception of climate and structural changes to economies in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Poland, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and the reality.
The research shows why we must develop effective strategies to link people's general awareness of climate change to how they evaluate both specific climate policies and structural economic change."
