"This report analyses the effectiveness of the EWC Recast Directive in contributing to the establishment of (1) more EWCs and (2) better EWCs.
In doing so, the author builds on data from the EWC Database managed by the ETUI. The results from the data analysis show a mixed picture. Mostly, the Recast was ineffective in stimulating the creation of more EWCs and upgrading the quality of new and already existing EWC agreements."
