"This article analyses the merits of collective deliberation as a means of achieving ecological and social sustainability of work in enterprises. To this end, I examine the case of a French collective interest cooperative company working towards green transition objectives. This type of cooperative is premised on the participation of all stakeholders (producers, consumers, etc.) in collective deliberation on work. The article analyses the contributions and limits of “holacracy” as a method of organizing work to provide multiple spaces for collective deliberation. I find that the impact of collective deliberation on the sustainability of work depends on the stakeholders involved."
