"Determining the extent of stress-related health problems at work is not an easy task. Most countries routinely collect data on ill-health retirements, work days lost due to sickness, injury and disability, etc. However, such data are imprecise and not reliable in terms of describing trends due to changes in, for example, the recording methods used."
