"The article focalizes, from an anthropological perspective and with an ethnographic approach, the time dimension analysis in the body-shop unit of the Lamborghini factory (Sant'Agata Bolognese). Taking into account, through literature, the central role of time connected to the transition from Fordism to Toyotism, the analysis consists in the ethnographic job characteristic description, which has, even in mass production, some aspects of artisan work. Work time is thus configured less pressing, fast and stressful than what is usually found in car production. Finally, the enlargement of the factory and the increase of employees, provide workers with a less precarious vision of the future."
