"Workers are not entitled to the rights and privileges that are normally enjoyed by U.S. citizens. The writers argue that in today's workplace, workers are forced to abandon their constitutional rights in order to earn their living, and thus are subject to the tyranny of the corporation. Since legislative reform has proved a losing strategy, the writers propose a remedy of extending constitutional rights into the workplace."
