"Aided both by its location and the policies of successive governments over 30 years, Chile has become one of the main exporters of fruit to Europe. It's a very lucrative business, above all because so many seasonal female workers are employed in insecure working conditions that give them serious health problems including musculoskeletal pain and agrochemical poisoning.
