"The paper analyzes the historical role of release of liability in the industrial injury act. In the past few decades the release of liability was pragmatically phased out by law and case law. The aim was that of forcing the employer to pay all damages to both the worker and the Inail. In this way, however, the health and safety at work Act lessened its impact. The paper offers another perspective of workers care through a social security system opposed to social insurance."
