Labour market
English
"This article details the variation in international estimates of UK labour market indicators between different organisations such as Eurostat and OECD. The variations exist for good reason- such as the education structure, state pension age and National Insurance system. The article provides some background to the institutions as well as the tools of data collection. Following the presentation of key labour market indicators the differences in definitions, concepts and measurements are set out. In particular differences in the treatment of age groups, measurement of hours worked and communal establishments are documented."
