"The EU-OSHA Workers' Exposure Survey on cancer risk factors in Europe (WES) provides information on workers' probable exposure to 24 known cancer risk factors during their last working week. WES was conducted in Germany, Ireland, Spain, France, Hungary and Finland in 2023.
This publication presents the first findings of WES, highlighting the most common occupational exposures among the cancer risk factors considered, the circumstances of exposure and the link between exposure and some working conditions. Results show increased risk for workers in micro or small-sized workplaces compared to medium-sized or large workplaces, and for those working over 50 hours a week."
