"This report identifies trends in cross-border company mobility (CbCM) in the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA), defined as encompassing cross-border mergers, cross-border conversions, cross-border divisions and cross-border seat transfers of SEs (Societas Europaea). Moreover, the report also looks at the creation of SEs.
Overall, the data shows that cross-border company mobility is a phenomenon of the 21st century, and particularly of the last 10 years: integration in the form of a freedom of establishment for companies through corporate mobility has existed only in this millenium and has increased steadily since the early 2000s. "
