"Slovenia is witnessing rapid and diverse changes resulting from globalisation, and all social partners will have to show deep understanding and considerable patience both at national levels and in the international arena in order to reach acceptable compromises and thus preserve the social balance. The law on collective bargaining has not yet been adopted under existing and valid legislation, such is the current state of transformation in the field of labour and tripartite relations in Slovenia. However, there do exist representative employers' organisations in Slovenia and this article describes the main features of the most important ones."
