"The following report is a summary, or 'Inventory', of tools for evaluating working environment and is a part-project in the SMARTA research programme ('Strategies and Methods for Management of the Working Environment').
This report is directed to practitioners and researchers who are looking for a method to measure work-environment in support of, for example, ergonomics improvement processes. Methods listed here have been identified by web and literature searches as well as through contacts in research and practitioner networks. The methods are grouped according to what they measure and where in the development process they can be applied. Where possible there are literature references and web-links to the tool itself. Furthermore information and web-links are provided to additional useful information on strategies and methods for evaluating ergonomics situations. The concept behind the report is to present many possible tools, and information sources, to help you find an evaluation method that is well suited to your needs."
